AK EMH and an 8am(was PPO) at TH RoL Pkg

We have a RoL pkg 8am at TH, which was a PPO time, but not anymore now that the park has EMH at 8am. I already have all the FP+ booked including FoP starting at 9:20am. I don't want to get to our breakfast super late by not giving ourselves enough time to get to TH. Can anyone tell me what it has been like getting into AK with the EMH in the morning? What time should we get to the gate to get through security? Also, what is FP+ leeway (5 minutes early and a few minutes after for the light to still turn green?)

I'd plan on parking in the parking lot by 7:30am. Or arrive by bus by 7:30. Security is always easy imo. You shouldn't spend more than 5 min going through security.

FP can be used 5 min early and 15 min late, anything outside of that window is up to the CM at the ride

Thank you! I thought it was 15 minutes late, but wasn't 100% positive. We're driving, so 7:30 in parking lot. Awesome!
So it hasn't been insane getting through security and the front gate? Good to know. I've heard to ask to pay our bill early in our meal, so we can leave when we're ready and not have to wait too.

You should be just fine walking up at 7:30 since your goal is getting to breakfast on time. If you were going for rides then I'd recommend 7am.

Yes you can order then request the bill right then to get out quicker, most do this for PPO breakfasts to get to rides before the crowd
