We have an 8:10am ADR at Tusker House for our upcoming trip.

This is also a day I would like to use a GAD FP. Would the will call window be open yet when we arrive for our ADR, which would probably be before 8am?

It seems like a waste for us to walk all the way back to the front of the park after breakfast just to get a GAD FP.

Has anyone had to deal with this situation as of yet?

I'm not sure anyone has posted their experience specifically at AK, but the Will Call window opens 30 minutes prior to guests being let into the park, including those with early ADRs. People have posted that Will Call opened at 7:30 at MK so they could redeem prior to an ADR - all parks should be the same. Should not be an issue for you at all. :goodvibes

I have tried in vain to find a way to the park that early.. I am staying off site and have a rental car, but from everything I have researched Disney is saying sorry, you wont be able to get there early enough. The buses wont run until 8am ( I have a 8:05 at CP) So I am thinking of taking a cab to Contemp and walking to the park. Does anyone else have a better idea??:confused3:confused3

If you are staying offsite with a car, you can drive to the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center), which is the MK parking lot. You can take the ferry or monorail over to the MK. The parking lot at MK should be open by 7:00. You shouldn't have any trouble.

If you are staying offsite and going to MK, you won't need to take a bus at all. :confused3 But the Disney buses do start by 6:30 or 7:00. Are you talking about an offsite resort shuttle bus? They probably don't start early enough.

You can take a cab to the Contemporary and walk or take the monorail if you want. I'm just not sure why you would do this if you have a car. If you won't have a car, your plan is fine, although you can also take a cab to the TTC and take the monorail over.
