AK - DVC Party Bash

If DW and I are staying on property but not using a DVC reservation, will I be able to take guests staying with me to the AK DVC 25th Bash in September ?

Assuming the rules for AK will be the same as the current bash at MK, what would be the answer to my question?

For the MK Event, you could book without needing a resort reservation. There were also party size limits for the MK event.

Party size limits apply:

• For Members with a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, party size is limited to the Member and up to the number of guests listed on their Disney Resort hotel reservation.
• For Members without a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, party size is limited to the Member and up to 5 guests.

The Beach Bash at Typhoon Lagoon requires a resort reservation (same for the ones held last year). Party size limits apply (limited to number of guests on reservation as above).

I suspect the Beach Bash is limited to resort reservations only due to the size of the water park.

Looking at the Spring 2016 Disney Files magazine (Page 4), they have a little more information about booking if staying on-site or off-site.

Priority booking for Members staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort or Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during the event date, along with the Guests staying with them in their resort accommodations. Other openings based on availability.

You do require to have resort reservations for the time for the Beach Bash. It is on the site now and indicates reservations open April 8th.

Looking forward to the AK event. I'm staying with 4 friends at AKV. 3 of us are DVC owners! We really lucked out when we made the reservations at 11 months. We got a value 2 bedroom, we are there for opening of F&W and this special event!

A bonus would be a MNSSHP on the Sunday or Monday!

For the MK Bash the phones opened an hour earlier than MS.
There was a option to push 1 on the first menu to connect to a special operator that took your reservation request.
You could book up to 6 people under one membership number and you did not have to be staying onsite nor under a DVC points reservation to book the MK Bash.
IMHO, the AK Bash should have the same rules.

So we have a two bedroom booked during one of the AK parties with 9 people in it. Will we all be able to go or limited to 6 of us? My husband and I are the DVC owners in the room (it's 4 adults and 5 kids).

I'll be staying at OKW when this party happens. I had already booked MNSSHP earlier in the day when I found out about this DVC party at AKL. Luckily they switched my MNSSHP tickets to Sunday. Yay!

I thought that most or all of the parties allowed you to book to the listed limit (such as 6) or to the occupancy of the villa it was more and you were staying onsite.
