We are going Chef Mickeys for breakfast, but am thinking about Donalds as well...is this one any good? Or save my money?

We did Tusker House in October and thought he food was very good. We found the character interaction during our visit very rushed though. This may not be the norm. Good, fresh varity of breakfast items though. We would try it again.

I agree the food was very good but I have to agree that the interaction is a little rushed. But we are doing it again in 3 weeks.

We are trying this out for the first time as well....I have heard nothing but rave reviews. I am very excited about it because Daisy makes an appearence here and both my girls want to meet her badly....we always seem to miss her in her usual spots.

We did the Tusker house breakfast in January and it was very good. Very good character interaction too. They had Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy! Each place had different types of food but both very good in their own ways!

We also went to Chef Mickeys. We love Chef Mickeys so either way you can't go wrong. When we went in January Chef Mickey's had Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald there. So you get a little bit different characters.

We plan on hitting them both in August! :thumbsup2

We enjoyed the food--thought the selections were varied and tasted good.

The character interaction was relatively good, and my (then) almost 3 year-old liked the dancing Conga-line kind of thing they did. We did, however, have to wait awhile before the characters got to us--the restaurant is pretty large. We hadn't done a character breakfast before, so I didn't really adequately prepare him for the fact that he might be able to SEE the characters quite awhile before he could actually TOUCH or TALK TO them. Now I know to prepare him a bit better, and he's older and better able to understand.

All that said, I think we will plan the Safari b'fast again. We also really enjoyed being in AK early and getting the day at AK started with a nice big breakfast!

One of our best meals last time. We had a late breakfast (around 10ish) and had fresh, hot food adn great character interaction. They came around more than once.

The food is very good. The character interaction was good, felt too, a bit rushed. But that okay I just need a picture with the family and we are good. The best part is to get an early ADR and then head over to the safari.

We ate there for breakfast last May and loved it. Lots of different choices and because my family eats slow, we had plenty of interaction with the characters (and we were placed in a back corner). My 4 year old even got to shake maracas with Daisy.

We are headed to Disney next week and I would have loved to go there again but when I called in January it was all booked up :sad2: That's what you get for deciding on a trip kind of last minute!
