AK Day

We need to do AK either on Sat. 11/25 or Sun. 11/26, weekend after Thanksgiving. Which day would be less crowded IYO? Which day do more people leave Disney after a Thanksgiving trip?

I was thinking a lot of people would be leaving on Sunday after the holiday but that is also the day we are switching resorts and need to be checked-in by 4:00 to make a 6:00 dining reservation.

I'd keep both options open until you see when you can get FPs if you plan to do FoP.

I believe the Animal Kingdom has early admission on Saturday. That will draw extra people there on Saturday. I don't like lines... When we go on a day with early admission, we get there early and plan on being done by noon. If we wanted to spend more of the day, we'd definitely go on a non-early-admission day.

I guess that will be a BIG factor because I am sure my "big kids" will want to ride FOP. Hopefully I can get a decent FP for either of those days.

I really am hoping for Sunday since we would already have the car packed and would need to drive to a park that day anyway.

I'm just hoping that Sunday will be a transition day for a lot of people starting the new week and they will be leaving and coming on that Sunday.

Disney will take care of the resort move for you (assuming they're both on property). Just do online check in for the second resort, bring your bags down to bell services and tell them where you're moving to. They'll move your bags and text you with your new room number.
