This October (week of 23) will be our fourth trip in four years, but all the previous trips were at the end of January. It will be me, DH, DD7, DD4 and DD4. Our typical touring "style" is get to the park around rope drop (sometimes we make it and sometimes we miss it by 15 or so minutes).

For our AK day, we have always done the same thing. Straight to Safari, catch the 10am FOTLK, head to Mickey and Minnie with FP+, part of group to Everest with FP+ and others to Bug show. From there we've eaten at Flame Tree. Some years we've powered on to Nemo and a few other things.

This year, we wanted to try some new things and maybe do FOP. Of course, no FP+ on our AK day. So, here's my outline for the day:

Straight to Safari (no FP+)
10: FOTLK (no FP+)
10:45: use FP+ for Na'vi
Mickey Minnie (no FP+)
noon: use FP+ for Everest (and others go to Bug's Life)
Lunch: Flame Tree
1-ish: use FP+ for Kali
1:30: Flights of Wonder

Does this work now with Pandora open?

Since you aren't doing FOP it's all workable. You are kind of back tracking from Safari back to FOTLK then back to Pandora so you might try to get the Pandora FP first thing or knock it out at rope drop. Either way will work. Again you are walking by FOW to get to Everest but if you don't mind walking it's all doable. We tend to go back and forth all over the place at AK. I notice you don't have the trails in there anywhere, if you haven't done them they are well worth it.
