AK Central Fastpasses

Has anyone who has returned recently know if they still have the centralized Fastpasses at AK?

They were still there on August 29.

They were closed at the beginning of September.

They were there August 28th, but closed (covered up) on September 4th.

I hope they decide to make this a usual thing at the parks - we used it at the end of August, and it was soooo nice on such a hot day not to have to run all the way to the safari or to EE to get fastpasses for later in the day.

They got highly MIXED reviews from guests.

Really? Why? The only downside I can see is that people might get Fastpasses that they end up not using.

I heard one lady say that she got a couple of sets of fastpasses for each ride at one time.
Was it possible to get more than 1 fastpass at once?

We were able to get FP for EE,Safari and Dinosaur all at once. I can't imagine how this would get mixed reviews. To each his own but not having to trek all over the park on a hot, humid August day definitely was a positive experience for our AK day. We LOVED this option!
