AK: can we pull this off without FP+

We will be going the first week of February on a day without extra magic hours. Could we ride the safari first thing, make a 10am FOTLK and an 11am Nemo show? Or is it too ambitious to be off safari in time?

I'm thinking we would save our FP+ for the MK Electrical Parade later that night. We have two toddlers and know they won't be able to wait while we stake out a spot for the parade.

We don't care where we sit for the shows so as long as we get in we will be happy.

Maybe.
But, the tight situation will be FoLK to Nemo on time.

FoLK lets out at 10:30.
Then, it's a long walk to Nemo, and
if you arrive too late, the theater may be filled.

The first bit looks pretty easy. Mesaboy is predicting low crowds that week and the Safari and FOTLK are right next to each other.

Nemo seems to be just about as far away as geographically possible. That seems like with toddlers it could require everything to be perfectly aligned. Will it be tragic if you have to wait for the noon show? I'd personally try for 11 but be prepared for the possibility of coming up short.

Not me. That ain't my thang.

funny -- I was worried about the safari to FOTLK. Didn't think about trekking way across the park. If we missed the 11, we could grab a snack or really early lunch and go to the 12. And frankly, if we missed the show altogether, that would be okay. We could spend some time in Dinoland.

This has me thinking -- which would you prioritize -- FOTLK or Nemo? Kids love both but are on the younger side. They will be almost 6 and almost 3 (twins).

Have a great trip!

You won't need FP+ for this. Having one for Nemo after FOTLK wouldn't help anyway, because you usually need to get into the show FP+ line rather early. It often gets cut off at some point before the shows start. The distance could be hard too. As for which to prioritize, do your kids know either movie? Otherwise, I would go for FOTLK. Nemo bored DH and I to tears, and DS wasn't completely enthralled either at 6. FOTLK was more interesting for everyone, but it's still not something we do often. We are just not big on most shows.

In my opinion, easily FotLK. We dislike the Nemo show. It was a one and done for us. For younger kids especially I think they'd enjoy lion king better.

Lion king show is full of singing, acrobats, characters, etc. Finding Nemo show is more of a Broadway musical with handheld puppets and objects. The big puppets looked great, but just wasn't our thing.
