AK - Awakening - what time do they let you into the park?

Was thinking of Donald's brkfst so we can be in the park when its still empty.
Reading that there is a rope that holds us there until after the Awakening.
What time does the park let ppl in to see the Awakening?

The park lets people in at 9 am on a regular day, 8 am on an EMH day, usually. Check the park hours for when you'll be there but I think AK almost always opens at 9 am.

What Im confused over is - why if they let ppl into the park at 9am and they can see the Awakening then
and they let down the rope at Donald's at 9am
why cant the ppl leaving Donald's go over to see the Awakening? sounds like there is another rope preventing ppl from doing so

I'm not sure exactly what time guests are allowed through the turnstyles for the Adventure Begins, but it's at least 15 minutes (if not more) before park opening. If you have a PS for Donald's Breakfastasaurus, then you are allowed to walk along a seperate roped off area along the right hand side and directed over to Dinoland. Though, once the Safari Character vehicle is in place, it would be unsafe for Guests to walk through that area until the vehicle passes through.

Sooo if they let ppl into the AK 15mins prior to park opening to see the Awakening whats to keep these ppl from skipping the Awakening and going to the safari?

You simply can't get through as the area is roped off. The awakening happens at the end of the path from the main entrance in front of the Tree of Life. Therefore they have the rest of Discovery Island roped off with CMs in place. Once it drops though, everyone will verge to the left to get to the safari, whereas Dinoland for you would be to the right. Think of it as a ringroad round the tree.
