I noticed that AK has a lot more availability than BW BL and BC is there any reason why?

BillAKV is a larger resort. It also has a stigma of being on the edge of no where and being far away from every thing.
Number of rooms per resort:
AKV 458 (max 708) rooms
BWV 383 (max 532) rooms
BLT 295 (max 428) rooms
BCV 208 (max 282) rooms
We own at BWV but usually stay at AKV because 9 times out of 10 there is always availability. Being a larger resort and a choice of staying at the main house or Kidani also helps.![]()
Some don't care for the heavy theming and dark rooms.

AKV savanna and standard view are usually easy to get at 7 months out and even beyond that. However, at the same time, AKV has the hardest rooms to get of all WDW rooms, AKV concierge which is almost never available at 7 months out and, because members can reserve 7 nights 11 months out from date of arrival, is often not even available at 11 months out because one's arrival date is later than another's. It also has the the third hardest rooms to get, AKV value, which are often unavailable at 7 months out (second hardest is BLT standard view).

Thank you for this info. We were hoping to do AKV value for a 2 bdrm for 2014 Spring Break, but it looks like I need to go to plan B.
