Wanting to book our WDW flights for Sept. 24th-Oct.1 soon. Can't figure out what's going on with Airtran. It says the dates are out through September but even if I "prentend" I just need a one way on Sept. 24th NO flights are coming up. Anyone else having problems? We are flying out of Kansas City. Have used Airtran the last three trips because they have been the cheapest. Just looking for the best price. Thanks!

They are not selling into Sept yet. They are usually pretty much on schedule with Southwest and SW will release the next block of dates around Feb 5th or 6th.

Plus didn't southwest buy airtran? I thought I read that somewhere? I was thinking the same thing but we fly out of Chicago so I was wondering if Airtran would even be flying out of here anymore since it is a southwest hub. Usually those are our two cheapest bets.

They did buy them. Thought I had heard it wouldn't take affect until 2012. I could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time! lol We have never flown Southwest before. Guess we may have to now.

Yes....they still need approval from some government body which will happen. There will be no physical merging until mid to late 2012.

Try Frontier Airlines, I found a flight for $96 one way. Frontier was so expensive after they bought Midwest Express, but I found prices are starting to drop.
