So ive seen a million posts saying people ordered their aisle runner for their weddings. I also have seen websites that do them for Disney. I told my wishes wedding planner that I was bringing my own and she said thats not allowed! Am I crazy or have others done this and how recent?

I know the rules at the Wedding Pavilion changed recently - runners from outside vendors used to be allowed but now have to be provided by Disney. All theme park venue decor also needs to be provided by Disney. Not sure about the other ceremony venues though.

Going off what elphie mentioned - I believe it's that Disney enacted a new rule (started last year) where you are required to use them for decor at WP and all outdoor and in park ceremony locations. You may be able to get away with bringing your own if you're having a ceremony in a ballroom, but I think otherwise, Disney has to provide ceremony decor. :worried:

The Disney runner is really expensive as well. You are looking at $1000 for a Disney one. I wish they would just let you rent one from them.

Disney offers aisle runners at several different price points. The basic one starts at less than $300. But it's very, very basic.

So if I want something with our names or happily ever after or even just a monogram M on it...am I looking at 1000? Is there anywhere I can go to see the prices for them before my planning session? Or can anyone show me theres and tell me what you paid? :)

I think the ones I've seen with the Happily ever after and names was about $750? I can't speak to the monogram, but I wouldn't be surprised if they still ended up charging about $500. Hopefully someone else can come in with more information.

I do remember one things - part of the price depends on how long of an aisle your ceremony location has - the prices I've seen are for those who have the WP (which also, I think, has the longest aisle). I'd be tempted to just ask my planner at this point.

I've just checked my BEO and we were quoted $275 for the aisle runner and $675 for the personalisation. This was for the Wedding Pavilion under 2013 prices
