Aisle runner ?

I am debating about an aisle runner for our VR b/c the carpet on the cruise is red and our colors are pink and blue. I really like the personalized ones I have seen on here. Can someone give me an idea how to make one myself?

I just did mine last weekend! Pics are in my PJ!

(I got the directions from Laura)
I took my monogramn/design i wanted on it and went to Staples and had them print in on 3' x 3' paper. then at home i taped the monogram design to teh table and taped the aisle runner over it. outlined the monogramn with pencil, the painted the mongram. LOVE IT!!!
