Airtrans flight insurance...anyone ever buy it?

I have not flown them before but see that they offer reasonable coverage in case of illness or natural disaster/weather (can you say, hurricane?) We are looking to travel in mid August so weather is a concern. Normal penalty to change is $50 per ticket + any fare increase, so to me the insurance is a cheaper route. Until SW opens up past 8/3 I have to look at other options.
So, any helpers?
