AirTran-what can you tell me about them?

We flew them once, and I didn't care for the attitude of the staff at all. I have not flown with them since and won't again until the merger with Southwest closes sometime next year. Even then I will really be flying with Southwest as I usually do.

The flight attendant threatened to have me kicked off the plane after I became frustrated with the fact that I had bought a seat for my son who was under the age where I had to but he was tall and squirmy. They wouldn't allow me to put him in his car seat though so what good was a seat for him at that age without a car seat to put him in? They made me check the car seat under the plane and he just crawled all over us exactly what we were hoping to avoid.

I think you are thinking of Air Transat, not AirTran which is an entirely different airline. AirTran does not fly to England or London Ontario if that's the London you meant.

Thanks Ted! If they change flight times, how much notice do they give you normally? I've never flown before and this is my family's first big vacation and for some reason the possibility of flight times getting changed stresses me out!
