AirTran Seat Assignments & Schedule Change

I'm considering buying tickets on AirTran, but am concerned because I know they make frequent changes to their schedule. If I pay ahead for a seat assignment, and they change my flight, am I guaranteed to get seats together on the new flight?

If all they do is change the flight times, then your seats don't change. If they move you to a different flight number, then the answer is no. Though you should be able to log in and change your seats to be together again with very little problems. If all else fails, you would likely be able to get a refund for the seat assignment fees. But don't even pay the seat fee, book by going through Kayak.com.
