Airtran lap baby booking question?

Hello,
I just booked our tickets for our Jan trip! I just have one question. It's me, dh, dd 3, and ds 1 ( lap baby). So when I booked and selected 3 passengers Then in the area where you put in the rewards #, birthdate, etc, I checked the infant in lap box under my name. Is this right? It just made me nervous when it didn't ask me any additional info about my infant, like name or birthdate, and it doesn't mention anything about an infant on the confirmation. So does this sound right? Thanks!

We just flew home on AirTran with a lap baby. All I did was check the box too. It worked out fine, but you may want to call and see if they need to add him/her into their system.

My DD did not show on our boarding passes as a lap baby, so I went to the counter at the gate and they put her info in there. Security did question why she wasn't on my boarding pass but then wrote her on.
