AIRTRAN gift certificates earn A+ credits Nov. 18 - Jan. 6

Hi all,
I just noticed on the Airtran site they are again offering A+ credits for purchasing gift certificates, valid this holiday season. They've had this offer for the past number of years. For every $100. in gift certificate purchases, you earn one A+ credit. 8 credits gets you a free flight, if you're a member of their Rewards program. A nice extra, but the only thing that seems to have changed this year, unfortunately, is that it says there is a limit on this offer of 10 credits earned per account. (if I'm reading that right) Anyway, a nice little perk, if you like to fly Airtran as I do. Guess I'll have to have my DH open a rewards account to earn more free credits!

Do you have to buy one gift card for $100 or can you get two $50 cards?

I used this deal last year - bought myself two $100 GCs & turned right around & used them to purchase our flights. I'm not sure but to the above poster, I think it was one $100 GC, not smaller increments. But I haven't looked at this year's deal yet so it might be different.
