Hi!

I have read in the past people advising everyone to keep a check on your flights b/c they can get changed and sometimes- the passenger is not notified.

I am flying AirTran in sept and was wondering- if i log onto AirTran and check (my account)-- would the time change show up right there.

i check now and then, but am just wondering if this is where i actually should be checking?...or elsewhere.

Thanks!

Yes, keep checking. My flight times have changed quite a bit, several times. I was only notified once. I think AirTran makes changes on Sundays so check every Sunday. Good luck and here's hoping you don't have any changes! :wizard:

AirTran is constantly tinkering with their schedules. Some changes are minor but some are either major or they just cancel a flight. Keep checking their on-line schedules so you won't be surprised. I have always received e-mails about changes but they come way after the changes have been made. I know some people have posted that they were not notifed at all.

Delta has been doing the same thing to us. I check my itinerary regularly and they changed the plane and time sightly from Orlando a few weeks ago. We were never notified. I sent them an e-mail due to the fact that we made our seat assignments and on the changed flight, it didn't show any seat assignments. A few days later we received a reply with new seat assignments and new e-tickets.
I checked yesterday and BOTH flights (numbers and planes) were changed along with times. Again, no seat assignments and no notification.
Another e-mail is on its way . . . .

I have been watching our flight times and they have been bouncing all over the place. When I booked my flight we were scheduled to leave IAD at 1:14 PM and arrive at 3:24 PM Nonstop. As of today it leaves IAD at 2:08 PM and arrives at 4:28 pm non-stop. I have yet to receive any notices from Airtran about these changes? Not only has the times changed the flight is now 10 min longer??

No one officially answered the OP's question. If the OP checks their itinerary, will the changes be reflected there or does the OP have to go through the process of checking the schedule manually?

I'm not sure of AirTran but yes, with Delta your itinerary will reflect any changes the airline makes. On Delta you log in with your Skymiles number and password, then click on itineraries. If the planes/times have changed it will show up on the itinerary. Below that box are the listing for the seat assignments if you made them. If the plane has been changed, there will be a "no assigment" next to the person's name. We have yet to be notified by Delta, either by phone or e-mail, or any of the changes.

Yes, if you check your itinerary on the site it will reflect the changes.
