I know a lot of you complain about AT changing flights & not confirming & check all the time to see if there's been changes.
I just got a flight change email today from them. We're scheduled to fly Sept 26-Oct 3 out of Buffalo. I booked in Feb over the internet when their sale came out. I checked each week starting about a month ago to see if it had changed. Last week I noticed that it had & decided to wait to see how long it took to notify me of the change. The change is not a big deal to me & actually works out better so there was no need to call.
So from what I understand, if you book so far away, their schedule is not set in stone yet, which is why changes happen. They've basically given me 2 months notice on the change which I feel is sufficient (will it change again?)
So they do send emails out. Just wanted to let people know my experience (so far) regarding emails.
