Airtran Credit?

I just looked up our flight info today because a friend at work said she got a good deal on her tickets, and they are cheaper by $20.00. Will they give me a credit? I went threw AAA and I called and had to leave a message. We are a family of 4 and that is about $160.00 bucks! Thanks Lisa

Not normally. There is a fee involved which generally eats up any credit. The only 2 airlines that I know will give you a credit if the rate drops and does not charge a fee are SW and Jetblue.

We have tickets for June with Airtran and must cancel due to husband diagnosed with cancer just last week, when I called they said they will give a credit but will deduct $75.00 per ticket for cancellation fee. Rest will be put on account until end of year as a credit.
