Hi everyone! I'm flying into LAX Wednesday and still have not figured out how me, my DD and my parents are getting to our hotel from the airport and back Sunday. DD is 4 and big enough for a booster but I haven't bought one yet and would rather not lug her car seat down there unless I'm saving some money. I'm scared to give some of these companies my credit card without hearing some good testimonies :). TIA!!!

I used Lansky's and they provide car seats and booster seats. It is $180 round trip, which is reasonable for the 4 of you. Drivers are nice and courteous, vehicle is clean, and they were on time. I highly recommend them.

We've used Limos.com to book a suburban (seats 7) to drive us from LAX to Disneyland last year and this year. $105 each way last year and $93 this year (promo code used). Great experience with Stellar Limo and Discount Limo, but you can choose your car size, leve of service, and if you want meet/greet inside the terminal (nice if you have a lot of luggage). Each company has reviews on there and it's super easy to book. Cheaper than car rental and paying for parking for us.

I have DS5, DS5, DD3 and bought bubble bum boosters for my oldest two. They roll up and fit in the bottom of our backpack/carry on. Very reasonable and highly rated. Great for travel!

We were there last week and used Lansky's to get from LAX to DL. It was $95 for the trip from the airport to the hotel and $85 for the trip back to the airport. This was for two people, not sure how or if the prices increase when you have more people.

Our flight was about 20 minutes late arriving and I had some trouble finding the driver at baggage claim. He wasn't sitting and waiting with a sign like the other drivers. I did a couple laps and was just calling Lansky's when I saw him walking around the baggage claim carousels. When we got to the hotel, I gave him a tip and started walking into the lobby. He came after me saying that I should have given him $75. I guess, he wasn't told that I had pre-paid. Luckily I had a copy of the receipt they had emailed me. He asked for a copy (which the hotel made.) So...I would recommend you bring a copy of your receipt just in case.

On the way back our pick up time at the hotel was 6:00 am (ouch!) We got to the front office about 10 minutes early and sat outside waiting for the car. At 5:59 (just as I was about to call) the driver showed up. I was getting a little nervous, but he was on time! When I tipped him at the airport, he was super appreciative...almost tried to hug me, but switched it up to a handshake at the end. :-)

They will also do a grocery store stop for you if you need one. We didn't, but could see that coming in handy for future trips.

I used Super shuttle and they were only 64 dollars return for two people. We used them in Paris and they get the job done like

You could also use the Disneyland Resort Express. It's a greyhound, no car seat needed, and cheaper than most shuttles. The only downside is you have to ride based on their pre-made schedule.

I used Lansky's last month. It was wonderful. There was a text message on my phone when I landed telling me he was in baggage claim and had a sign with our names on it. He was super easy to find. He got our bags from baggage claim, loaded them into his super nice SUV. There was a super clean booster waiting for my daughter in the car along with 2 bottles of water. He took us to a really nice grocery store and then onto our destination of Paradise Pier. The return trip was just as good. He was on time, courteous, and professional. I would use them again without hesitation.

We were going to use them, but our flight times were too late on the way in and too early on the way out...they don't run 24/7. But, I like their prices a lot more!

Our Lansky drivers both drove a minivan...the receipt said to expect a Suburban or like vehicle. Just a heads up in case you really wanted something spiffier. We had no problems with the minivan's, just wasn't what we expected.

We've used Disneyland Resort Express in the past, several times. I'm hesitant to go with them any longer, though, unless I pre-pay. They tend to "forget" their prices, and attempt to charge some people more than others. Quite honestly, we weren't impressed that DH and I were $12 more expensive than the family of 4 sitting in front of us! (And I made a big stink, pulled up their website with prices, and everyone else on the bus was then well aware of what they should be paying.) They are currently $48 per person, roundtrip, and up to 3 kids are free per paying adult, so you'd be looking at about $200 for your group. With this option, you can pre-pay through their website, I believe (I have done it in the past, but it's been like 18 months), so no one other than headquarters ever has your card number.

Without discounts, renting an economy car for your whole trip from Alamo is under $220. (Keep in mind, though, you may need to pay parking fees at your hotel.) Or, again with no discounts, from LAX to Downtown Disney is $99 through Alamo, and $51 to get back. These are prices without taxes included. Alamo is a well-known business, so your card is safe with them. Their drop-off and pick-up locations are right there in Downtown Disney, too, which is sooo nice! (Thinking of doing this myself for my trip in February.)

I believe Uber is also an option, though I can't check the fares at the moment (page isn't loading right on my computer). You pay through the online (secure) site, and the Uber driver never has any contact information. I believe Uber has a heck of a discount code available online, too... like $30 off or something?!

We use the Disneyland Express every time (and just did this past weekend!). I like not having to worry about car seats/boosters and I won't "borrow" from a company (it's not safe since you don't know the history). As was said, kids ride free, which makes it very affordable for my family of 6. And it was definitely the most affordable way for our group of 12 (6a/6k) this past weekend. I do wish they ran more often, but we've actually never had problem with too long of a wait.

I do pre-purchase and just hand over the voucher. No set reservations are needed and we've never encountered a full bus.

How was the return portion? I worry about booking with them and having trouble with the timing of the return trip. How much time did you give yourself before scheduled flight?

The return trip was fine. We give ourselves 2 hours at the airport and 60-90 minutes to get there. Of course yesterday, we gave ourselves the full 3.5 hours and there was no traffic and no line at TSA ;)

I personally shoot for catching the bus 4 hours before my flight. We stay off-site, so they go to DLH for the last stop and the bus switch (LAX on one bus, SNA on the other). So, I allow a little extra time to deal with that switch; I've been there up to 40 minutes (!!) before, and then still had an hour ride to the airport. ... And you can never tell how long the TSA line will be.
