We will not be renting a car. We aren't interested in making a ton of stops before getting to our resort. What do you suggest? Any and all suggestions welcome:)

We booked the town car service ahead of time. It was AWESOME and sooo worth the money. When we arrived at the airport there was a man holding a sign with our name on it. He carried our luggage for us to his car that was parked right outside this secret exit door! I felt like we were in the movies scampering off in a get-away car! He took us right to our hotel (no stops in between) and it was the same thing on the day we were departing. $120 I think plus a tip each way. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I was gonna do this too - but I think it's cost prohibitive. $120 + tip each way is about ~$280. We can rent a minivan for a week for ~200 (taxes included).

Don't want to hijack the original OP, but is there a cheaper, non-Shuttle van, Airport to DLR transportation option?

We always use a car service at WDW for about $120 round trip. LOVE it!! That would be my first choice. I wish it wasn't so much more expensive.

Super Shuttle has a private car service for $72 each way, up to 4 people. We're going to try that this month. Plus if you do an online search they have coupons available.

We are taking the disneyland resort express, the price isnt bad, about 100 dollars round trip, but we will enjoy the convenience.

We took a taxi from SNA to HOJO's, about $40 each way. Quick, easy. Will do again.

My only concern with the Disneyland Express is how long it takes to get to our hotel with all the other drop off sites. All three Disney resorts and other Anaheim area hotels? I think I will need to call them for the details.

What hotel are you staying at? It will stop at the DLH first, possibly the GCH first. Then you either stay on or trasnfer to go to other hotels. So after the GCH and DLH a lot of time can be added.

With super shuttle, if you have a private shuttle they would probably be fine with making one quick stop, but if you want multiple stops, you would probably have to encourage the driver to do so with tips.

Like around WDW, some of the towncar services will allow a 30 minute stop, but then charge more for extra or longer stops.

Where are all of these places you need to stop at? A lot of stuff is a cheap shuttle ride or a quick cab ride from DLR.

If you are staying at a Disney Hotel, call and inquire about being picked up at the airport. Disney has a service for picking up and taking guests to the airports. We have used it several times and found it to be prompt and profesional. They will pick you up at whichever airport you are fliing into and take you directly to the disney hotel. NO stopping at other hotels, very courtious and profesional....:cool1:

We used Karmel last year and will use them again this year. I like that they don't do any other stops, our drivers were nice and we got to PVI quickly and safely.

Can anyone recommend a private car/van service from Long Beach Airport to Disneyland Hotel that would provide child car seats?

Thank you so much!

We rented a car for four days for $66.00. It was economy from Alamo. We rented from ONT. We didn't drive around too much. We went to Target, In n Out, and the bank a few times. We ended up driving to the park from our hotel because I have an AP so the parking was free. I think we spent $17 on gas.

Maybe price out the rental car? It might be less than shuttle service!

If we were staying longer, I would definitely consider it! We will only be there 3 days and will go nowhere but the parks. Plus we don't want to bring car seats, although I think we may have to buy "bubble bum" inflatable boosters if we can't find a car service that doesn't provide seats. We are really looking for door-to-door service. We are flying from the East Coast with three kids under six and just want to get to the hotel once we FINALLY land!!

My question for everyone who has used a service, whether it be shuttle or town car, is if you liked your service who provided it?

We arrive on the 26th and are using "Super Shuttle". I believe it's a large van-type vehicle, than holds up to 9 passengers. It's $20/person, round trip. We know it will make other stops, so we are prepared for that.

ols, if you prepay online using code uyr59 it takes $6 off RT pp. You do have to enter each person individually or you will just get $6 off for the whole party. You don't have to worry about not being on the same shuttle if you make individual reservations--I do it all the time.
