Hi guys! My trip is in 10 days and I'm trying to make my final decision regarding how to get to my hotel from the airport. I'm down to either Mears or Tiffany Towncar.

TTC is obviously more expensive ($72 roundtrip with the coupon I have, plus tip), but I would really like the security of having someone there waiting for me, as I'm travelling alone and not arriving until midnight.

Mears, on the other hand is $30 roundtrip, but I'd be alone to handle my luggage, and get safely to the busses.

The other option, I guess, would be to have TTC pick me up, and catch a shuttle back, but that would be $60, and if I'm going to spend that much, I might as well spend all the $ for TTC.

So, any suggestions? Options I'm overlooking? I don't really want to take a cab, but if there are some other good transportation companies I havent thought of, let me know!

I can't stress how much better it is than Mears. With Mears you may have to stop at other hotels to pick up and drop off other passengers. When we used them they picked us up at 4 a.m. to accomodate passengers from other hotels. Never again!! As long as it's not cost prohibitive I would use a towncar every time.

We used Mears every trip so far (except once we needed a rental car) and never had a problem. We stayed at CBR this time, for instance, arriving on a Saturday mid-morning. We only waited a short time for the Mears bus and it was a full-size bus. Nearly everyone that was loaded on it was going to CBR, which was the first stop.
When we checked out, we had to leave the resort earlier than we normally would because of security procedures at the airport. Our flight wasn't til 3 p.m. but Mears picked us up at 11:30 and again it was nearly a full bus. As it turned out we were able to use curbside check-in and wouldn't have needed all that extra time, but if you had seen the line checking in, we figured we would need it all!
As for your baggage, we've always tried to take only what each person can handle. But the skycaps are there and eager to help and in my opinion, worth the tip. There are also the small luggage carts if you need them and they don't cost much.
I think it's neat to take the Town Car, but our group was really too large to fit in one with all the baggage. I always thought if DH and I go just the two of us we would definitely do it.
Our shuttle tickets for Mears (part of a package) were $27 each round trip for all adults.
Hope you have a great time!:)
