Airport transportation besides Mears etc???

Years ago we used a service like Mears but I seem to recall it was a flat rate for a ried, not based on 'per person'. They were waiting on us with a sign and all but I cant remember who it was. But they only took our party, 6 people, and the service was personal. Anyone know the companies besides the ones always mentioned (Mears, Tiffany...)

I know there were some others bus just cant remember the names.

well you can try happy limo, florida towncar or a svc like this. they have the flat rates not per person.

My DH and I really like Transtar Transportation. They have an office in both terminals at MCO, and if you visit their website www.transtar1.com/coupon.html, you can print off a $4.00 coupon (print off as many as you need for the people in your party). They are quite efficient and seem to have less problems than Mears. You can either call, email or check on the website for prices (they seem to be a bit cheaper than Mears, plus you can use the coupon). Good luck with your transportation options!

How often do the Shuttles run? Is there more than one shuttle available at a time...so you don't have to wait an entire hour or whatever it would be? The number of stops it would make would depend on how many people on the shuttle right? And how many had a hotel before yours? I'm still trying to get my DH on a shuttle from the airport so I don't have to go pick him up...but because of his accident (and the broken bones that are still healing!) I don't think he'll want to sit around and wait on a shuttle too long! Thanks for any help you can provide!

rhays - Last year we arrived on a Sat.. morning in July at approx. 10:30 a.m. went to Transtar counter and within 15 minutes we were on our way! They use smaller shuttle vans and so we only had to make a few hotel stops (they were near our hotel). We find them to be efficient and their customer service is excellent. This year we are arriving on a Wed. morning (in 4 days!) and so we don't expect them to be very busy at all. There were several shuttles available when we arrived, and we saw more out on the roads on our way to the hotel. They seem to have lots of shuttles available, and everybody communicates using radios. We really like their service and have had no problems at all.
