Does anyone know if the airport (Orlando MCO) has rentable storage? We are bringing a carseat on the flight for our daughter, but I do not relish the thought of toting it to the resort and then on the cruise with us. I'm hoping the airport may have lockers large enough to store it?

US airports do not have storage lockers. Been that way for quite a while.

Just curious why you are taking a carseat (Idon;t know your DD's age)? I did it once and it was the worst thing in the world. She wouldn't sit in it because she was higher than we were, she couldn't see us easily, and it was a mess. The stewardess was happy to take it for us and stow it up front out of the way.

Not sure of your child's age/size, but you may want to look at a CARES harness. We took a carseat on our first cruise and it was such a headache to lug through the airport, etc. We used a CARES harness this last time and it was so much easier.

She will be 20 months at the time of the trip (15 months now) and she is an excellent (i.e. quiet) rider in her seat now. She's always enjoyed her own space, and honestly, I don't want to be stuck holding her for the whole flight, lol.

She'll be 20 months in Feb when we sail, and is currently 26 pounds. I will definitely look at this harness, it seems like it just might be perfect for our needs. Thank you!!

I used the CARES harness when my kids were little and then resold it on ebay when they outgrew it. There is no way I would ever fly with a lap baby. During heavy turbulence they can become projectile objects.

I thought I could do it. In fact, I booked her as a lap baby, then just didn't have any peace of mind about it. As you say, that turbulence can be scary. I will scour ebay for the harness. Thank you!

Several people rent their CARES harnesses out on eBay if you don't want to buy one.

I also use and love the CARES harness. My oldest DD used it and now my 2.5 yr old will use it. We are also going to bring a travel vest for in buses and cars. The Travel Vest is small so it doesn't take much space and I will feel better having my LO's in a safety device for the drive to Disney and the drive to PC

I loved my CARES harness. We used it for several years for my son. So much easier than lugging the car seat through the airport.
