I was wondering if anyone heard of or used Town and Country Transportation's shuttle service from MCO. If so how was your experience? It seemed like the chepest is you make reservations online(18$ round trip), but i was sure how good it was and couldn't find anything out about it on the forum. Thanks.

Can't help you with them, but they are not the cheapest to Disney resorts as Magical Express is free..... Welcome to the DIS!

How good is the transportation between your off-site hotel and the Disney theme parks?

A shuttle from the airport to an off-site hotel, no matter how good, is not a good option if the off-site hotel as has no park shuttle service or very limited park shuttle service.

The best transportation option for most off-site hotels is a rental car.

As far as I know there is no authorized Town and Country Transportation shuttle service from the airport. There is a taxi company by the name of Town and Country that operates out of MCO. You might check to see if this company requires a minimum number of passengers. It will not take you out, for $18.00 roundtrip, if you were a single passenger. The shuttle service out of MCO is Mears and that is the only one I know of that is a legal shuttle service.

The website is townandcountrytransportation.com (sorry the won't let me add links yet). It says they have discount shuttles that leave every half hour from the airport. Actually every 15 minutes because it leaves from both the A side and the B side of the airport. I'll check into it a little more. My hotel has shuttles to all of the parks including Universal and Sea World. There is a minimal fee round trip to Disney. Checked the times and they seem reasonable. I am under 25 so the fee for underage drivers makes renting a car too expensive. Thanks for the help.

There is something wrong with that information. The only regular shuttles operating out of MCO are the Mears Transportation shuttles.

Has anyone checked out the site. Am I not reading something right? I got the company name and website from Comfort Inn Lake Buena VIsta. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks.

The company is listed on the airports webiste but it is considered a taxi. Anyway, i haven't gotten around to calling them yet but it seems like a good deal. If anyone has had any experiences with them please let me know. Thanks to everyone.

There is a taxi company called Town and Country. That is not the same company. I met what I think is the company you are looking for. It was in the Notice of Violation hearing yesterday afternoon. The company is not permitted at the airport and I guess does not have a city permit. Fortunately, he got off from the violation because the GOAA official made a mistake and the sub-board found him not guilty. So he is not permitted at the airport and if he is picking up there, he is doing it illegally. I would try reserving a service that is listed on the airport Vehicle-for-Hire site. The link is below. Most hotels give you the names of independent transportation companies because the transportation company pays the hotel a commission for the lead.
