DW, DS and myself are to WDW again in Sept. DW has quite a disney pin collection. Last week during the disney store online sale I picked up a carring bag for all her pins. Will this be allowed as a carry on? Could disney pins be considered a weapon? Looking for guidence.

This has been posted numerous times and there has even been a TSA screener post responses. You can try search if it is working, but the overall response is you can carry on your pins. Be prepared for the bag to be opened, but that can happen to any of your bags. (The other day my compact appeared to be dangerous for some reason! LOL!)

My daughter came home with hundreds of pins and all they did was look in the box. Once they saw what they were she was allowed to move on. No problem taking them on the plane.

Guys thanks again for the responses. I did check the tsa site, no help at all. But based on the other posts I think we will carry them on. Besides, there is no way we are going to pack them anyway.

SAKPEG99OKW, you will be OK. My daughter was in the Disney College program for 11 months and had collected lots and lots of pins. When she went through they had a nice conversation about pin trading. I wouldn't have wanted to put them in a suitcase.

DD has the pin binder, as well as the lanyard, and we've passed them by security at MCO, MHT and BOS several times since 9/11 and have never had a bit of a problem. Now, my 1" nail clippers, they were a different story.
