What is the name of the card that frequent fliers can get that speeds them thru security?
TIA
TIA
There was a thing called the Clear Card that allowed passengers to get through security more quickly at a very limited number of airports, but that service shut down about 18 months ago. I'm not aware of anything else like that.
Thanks.
When I flew from Orlando last fall there was a special line that business people were in that was shorter and faster. I was wondering what that line was for.
Could be the return of Clear as cited by the PP. Or there can be some kind of express line that's generally reserved for first class passengers and elite frequent flyers. I guess the latter group generally has some kind of card, but it's earned by flying too much.
That's the Clear line. I was a member when I lived in MCO. However, I live closer to SJU nowadays, which makes it pointless to me.
What I do to speed things up now is just flash an elite card (usually AA or Continental), and those generally get me through at most airports. I'm also a member of Global Entry, which gets me through customs/immigration at airports that use it. Usually in seconds.
A security guard walked them over to a glass door that he opened for them. This allowed them to bypass about 90% of the line we stood in.
I realize that... my home airport now is SJU, where elite cards are respected; and my main worksites are PTY and MIA where.... *gasp*... elite cards are again respected. The elite card does you no good at MCO.
I don't live anywhere CLOSE to MCO. I am willing to PAY clear just for those few times I fly out of that disaster of an airport!![]()
Looked it up..$155. You must verify at an Enrollment Center with a passport and other form of ID.
