So this isn't Disney related but I know the people on this board are very well versed at travel. My husband is flying out of Detroit to Seattle with a layover in Denver, in less then 2 weeks. We are not flyers at all, we have flown to Florida 3 times and all were non-stops.
So here is my dilemma/quetsion whatever. I am going to check him in, online 24 hours in advance (flying Southwest) will this have me print 2 boarding passes? One for Detroit and one for Denver? His layover in Denver is only 40 minutes, I am concerned this will not be enough time. What do you think? What is the exact process for a layover? Does he go through Security again? I did see that Southwest is at
Concourse A&C, Gates A:48,50 C:23-35, 37,39,41, 43,45-49. So does that mean chances are he will fly into C and hopefully his next leg of the flight is also in C?
I am really trying to get him as much info as possible, he is a nervous flyer and going alone is making him even moreso.
Ok now let's say he lands in Seattle and a shuttle from his hotel is suppose to pick him up. He would obviously go to baggage claim, get his bags and then go where to catch his shuttle? (He may get this answer when he calls the hotel I am guessing?)
Then for the way home, I can check him in 24 hours in advance, but how does he get his boarding passes printed?
His layover on the way home is almost 2 hours so no worries there.
I think that is all my questions but if I have more I will add them to thread.
Thanks in advance guys and gals
