Hiya

Well its getting close to that time for me and a few other disers to be going to wdw (37 days, 27 working days) and here the thing, I dont know how much money to take for spending at the airport. Any ideas?

I dont buy any perfume as chris always gets me a bottle, just want enough to buy bits,

a girl I work with spends 500!!!!!! at the airport!!! which I dont think I could ever do

so how much do you take?

How long is a piece of string Anna?

I think last trip we bought dinner £70, aftershave & perfume £80, bottle of vodka £10, pair of sandals £30 and comics, books etc which must have been £20 or so.

So if you include dinner we spent over £200 (family of four). I guess if you were to go mad in the Duty free you could spend a LOT more though, LOL

We just buy dinner the night before our flight (usually McDs :) ), a breakfast at Garfunkels the monring of the flight, and just some snacks for the flight :)

Don't forget that anything you buy in the duty free on your outward journey counts towards your £145 limit if you then bring the goods back into the country on your return!

Non drinkers/non smokers here so we only spend a few pounds at the airport. I never have a big meal at the airport and like to eat minimal before and during the flight to avoid having "to go" on the airplane and because I am often too excited to eat. We walk around the airport a lot, but just to kill time and knowing we will be sitting for a long time.

We usually buy 1 bottle of spirits on the way out and drink it out there!

2 bottles of fragrance, 1 for me and 1 for DH.

Newspapers, sweets etc £10

Breaakfast for 3

Nic Nacs for DD, extra this trip as it is her birthday the day we travel.

Have a look around Dixons, La Senza.

We will take around £150ish plus the CC for any bargins that we see.

And generally the same on the way back.
