airport hotels lax

we are doing a 2 week vacation as our flight is at 7.30 in mornning from lax which airport hotel would be bestfor our last night.as i dont fancey driving from disneyland to the airport at 4 in the mornning (international) trying to find my way in a strange land.As the hotels at the airport do shuttles to airport do they do them from the airport so i can drop the car off the night before as well

Most if not all of the major hotels near LAX airport have complimentary shuttles to the airport. I know Renaissane & Marriott do. Another one a couple of miles away - the Doubletree, does too.

I have used the Renaissance many times and it is very convienent for me.

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton which has shuttle and is cheap - but not an experience I'd repeat. None of the airport hotels are in the best area and this one has outside corridors in one part of the building - I'm not sure if anyone could actually get in, but I definitely did not feel safe. At Xmas we stayed at the Westin, which was $40 more a night but at least felt secure and yes, they have a shuttle.

As for dropping off your car - if you're hiring from Thrifty, then definitely book the Westin as the depot is opposite, otherwise most of the depots are about a 5 minute drive away but you do have to get the car hire shuttle back to the airport, then pick up your hotel shuttle to get back to where-ever you are staying. I think it took us about 1 hour door to door.
