I am going on the DCL/ECC on April 30,2005
I will come in early, on April 29,2005

I was going to stay at WDW/DVC beach club villa

then I thought, that will be expensive
with taxi from airport to BCV and
cost of staying at BCV
I was planning on going straight from dCL cruise ship back to airport
after DCL cruise

If you are not going to enjoy BCV and WDW, on april 29,2005, just looking for place to stay at, the night before DCL cruise
does it make sense
to just stay at a HOTEL in airport or near airport??

has anyone done this, would they recommend or discouarge this?

any recommendations of hotels in or near the airport??

Dave has a nice link at http://www.dcltribute.com/lodging/

There are a lot of hotels, maybe a dozen, on a big circle around a pond just off the airport property. All offer shuttles to and from the airport....and to the DCL buses at the airport.
We stayed at the Sheraton for $69. It was fine, and while they don't include breakfast, they did offer a nice breakfast buffet for a fee.

thank you for this wonderful link.
i just booked the hampton inn, for $89 plus tax
and 2 breakfast.

to the best of your knowlege
do i simply take the Hampton INN shuttle from the airport to the Hampton INN, on April 29,2005?
and then take the Hampton Inn Shuttle back to a location at MCO, where DCL people are picked up by DCL cruise bus, on April 30,2005??

This is all assuming Hampton INN has a airport shuttle, which they told me a few minutes ago they did

more questions about hotels near airport?
are there places, you can walk to, from your hotel, for meals on april 29,2005
the night before my DCL/ECC april 30,2005 cruise??

In a worse case scenario, could I not take the Hampton INn shuttle to MCO
for meals
and then back to Hampton INN??

I just wanted to warn you about avoiding the Clarion airport. It was a pit and no customer service at all. See my previous post about my experience.

I just stayed at the Wingate by MCO on the evening of 11/26. I won it on priceline for $45 I think. It was well worth it, the rooms were large and it included free breakfast. There was also a shuttle to the airport.
