Airport Help!!

I know this has probably been asked a million times....But I did a search and could not find my answer.

What airport would you used coming from Chicago? I will coming in on a Saturday so I know that traffic will not be "as" bad coming from LAX...but after being on a plane for 5 hours..I do not want to sit in traffic for 2 more hours.

How far away are Long Beach or John Wayne?
