Hi there,

Trying to organise booking and am just wondering how far (distance and time) are Beauvais and CDG airport from DLP. Wondering is it worth it to go for the cheaper Ryanair tickets........

Many thanks

It's about an hour and a half driving from Beauvais or about 40 minutes from CDG.

I looked into this as well when I was booking and the deciding factor was that the Ryanair flights into Beauvais also got in a little later than the flights into CDG,

Plus if you are seriously considering using Ryanair, remember that they charge for baggage and check in and everything now too. In the end it worked out around the same price for us to fly Air France into CDG once we'd added on the transport at the other end as well. (however if we'd been travelling Ryanair, we'd have had an hour and a halfs drive and airport parking this end too)

It does depend on where you're flying from obviously as well as how many people are travelling.

Thank you for your reply. The time difference between the 2 airports is therefore approx 1 hour.

There are two adults and two children travelling from Dublin.

Have just done my sums and the saving we would make is €100 (£77) if we go Ryanair. Think I might go Aer Lingus into Charles d Gaulle. Beauvais would add I hr extra each way onto our travel time, so not sure that the €100 saving between 4 of us is worth the saving.........

Getting excited already and we're not going till November...:hyper:

I think these boards kinda do that to you :lmao: Disney is all I've gone on about since I came on here :goodvibes

I would agree that 2 extra hours in the parks is probably better than 100 Euro's ;) and it's less travelling time too :thumbsup2

haha, DIS makes me a nightmare to be around, I know it. People are sick to the back teeth of hearing about my trip to Disneyland, and I've still got 5 weeks!!

More on topic. I think CDG is a much better option, for that small a price gap, and as was previously mentioned, tehre are ALWAYS hidden costs with ryanair etc.

Plus I hate the scrum to get on the plane becasue no-one has seats reserved, for me that alone is worth the 100euro!!

Thanks for your replies.......Aer Lingus it is...Yes for €100 the extra hours in Disney are soooo worth it........
