I refuse to let anyone or anything destroy or limit how I live my life. Not only does this have psychological repercussions, I believe it also helps those who seek to change our way of life. I will not yield and give them the victory. You either believe your fate is already chosen, you accept fate as it happens and move on the best way you can or you give up and allow your fate to be determined by someone else. As for me...I'll be on a plane with my family headed as scheduled for Disney in November. I've increased my 401K and recently invested in more stock. Everything that makes us America needs our support. From those who have suffered tragedy to our economy, our military and our country. Retreat or persue. My basic philospy is, I don't worry about things I can't control and I strive to improve the things that I can.
As a country we have become complacent. The time to change is now. We control our destiny. Each one of us is responsible for the outcome. We are to blame for our shortcomings.
Anyway, having gotten that off my chest...what is the wait times when checking in at the airports.

Hi...I'm flying out of IND airport the 25th of October to San Diego...according to TWA
representatives the arrival time prior to flight departure is 2 hours. My flight leaves at
6:30 am so figure the math..gonna be leaving home real early!! Hopefully lines won't
be as crowded at that time of the morning(night).

Not sure what San Diego is like....friends there said it has been no problem...not sure what
that means.

Boy, I thought 2-hours prior to a 7:30 flight would be brutal, especially so with a 4YO in tow. Our typical travel routine is to swing by the in-laws and have them drive us to the airport. That would require us to leave home around 4:00...that's just sick!

We decided to bite the bullet and get a room near the airport for the night before and take a hotel shuttle to to the curb in the morning. This will allow us to run our normal routine at our leisure, ending up at hotel instead of the airport. We got a room at the Doubletree Sea-Tac for $25 through Hotwire (their famous chocolate cookies await!). Definitely a small price to pay for a little extra sleep and peace-of-mind in being only a few blocks from the check-in counter.

The whole industry is suffering along with the airlines, so they are all ready to make deals. I am happy to oblige.
