airport cancellations in New England - anyone here any?

I believe I heard they cant find the runways at Logan (Boston)
Anyone here if Hartford is open today? A friend & managed to get her DH to a Bradley hotel (at the beginning of the storm yesterday) for his flight out today. He works for Verizon and is going to CA to help with the landslides. His flight was delayed 6hrs already but is the airport even open today? or did we get him there for nothing? please say he's going - she could have used him here today.

Both Logan and Bradley closed last night, although it looks like Bradley might be operating again now...

All Delta flights out of BDL to CVG, ATL, and MCO are cancelled today. I assume
the same is for SONG flights to FLL, TPA, and PBI.

Per the news BDL will try to open for 12 noon. They are saying to call before arriving to the airport. Part of the problem is that they don't have the planes there to fly out. If you plan on flying out today I would try to get ahold of some pixie dust and see where it takes you(hopefully someplace w/not so much of this white stuff).

Flight 501 is at the gate.....this is the flight we were supposed to be on yesterday. Made it 200 feet and that's it. So the plane is there, the crew is there, and would think they would want to start things moving ASAP. Unless, those gale force winds really start cranking up!

The report was that BDL which usually has over 400+ planes on the ground at any one time had 3...just 3 planes when they closed yesterday! My good thoughts go out to anyone who is trying to get out/in.

The last I heard as of 10:00 am they are planning for a noon opening.
