Airport attack involving doctors

I was stunned that the attackers were young doctors. Maybe I shouldn't have been. It's such a waste. To have studied so long and to have such potential to throw it all away on evil motives. And then there's the irony that they (doctors) are the ones we have to trust the most with our very lives plot to kill us.

It's terrible when anyone commits such an act. But for someone that has trained to save lives it's just a shock to me. Especially a network of doctors.

It'll be interesting (and sad) to see how the investigation unfolds.

I wasn't that surprised to be honest, I'm sure these fundamentalists weren't training to be doctors to help people, rather to gain easy access to this country under a reputable umbrella.

I think these people are following another oath to be honest Michelle. they are extremists and have done anything, and will do anything to get undercover in this country. I happen to know that every armed police officer is now undergoing major security checks concerning possible terrorist infiltration. These people have put years of research into how to get into this country and how to cause maximum damage.

I read that one of the people involved in the airport attack was kicked in the nads! I say he deserved every ounce of pain he got. I have no sympathy for this... (um, I'm too angry to think of a dirty name for him!). As for those doctors, if they are naturalized British citizens, should they be put to death for treason if convicted? I think yes in this case.

Death is far too good for these people. After all that is what they were trying to do commit suicide. So long as life means life. Surely they can never be realised out of prison after such an evil crime?

I've just read somewhere that apparently 8 known members of Al-qaeda are currently working in the police service but can't be dismissed because political correctness states that you can't sack someone for their political/religious beliefs mad when these people are doing a job that is supposed to protect OUR safety!

I believe you cannot join as a Police Officer in some forces if you support the BNP! So as for not being able to 'sack' people whose presence may cause a breach of security is utter madness

Surely it's time for a change! My gosh. That's just not acceptable! Any person known to participate in Al-qaeda is part of the jihad. It's beyond political/religious beliefs, that's mandated murder!

I hope people are ringing up the authorities and giving them an earful!

And that police thing is shocking!!

The thing is, some people will now be nervous of doctors and may put of going because of it, or will not see a certain doctor because of it..

They've put so many people at risk not only the people that were present when they attacked.
