airport alternatives?

Geez flying into orlando at a decent rate is not looking good (from boston), i am considering other options such as tampa and driving to orlando. How long of a drive is it anyone know? Also are there any other closer airports that tmapa that I should consider? I am really unhappy that the airfare is so ridiculous...we have everything else planned perfectly except getting there !!!! ughhhhhhhhhhh

It's a travel search engine (not a travel company) and once you put in your departure and destination information, the site should come back with all nearby airports - for example, it might turn out cheapest for you to fly from Manchester, Providence, or Hartford, to Daytona (highly unlikely, just an example) than directly from Boston to Orlando.

There are not many alternative airports to Orlando - Tampa being the closest. Melbourne and Sanford have some flights but other than those you have West Palm Beach and Jacksonville which are quite far away.

Perhaps as said in last post consider Southwest from Manchester or Hartford or Providence.

Can you fly out of Providence? I get great Ding fares through southwest flying out of Providence and into and out of Orlando. Much easier than flying out of Boston too. Manchester also always has really good ding rates into and out of Orlando as well. Maybe try to switch the airport you are departing from.
