Airplane check in whil on ship

hi all,
We are flying southwest at 6:00p the day of debarkation. To get in the first boarding group for the plane on southwest, you need to do online check in exactly 24 hrs before the flight. I can't find any info re: southwest on dcls online checkin info. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do we just use our laptop/phone through dcl wifi? I'm worried about spotty service... We should be leaving castaway cat headed toward Miami at the time I would need decent wifi. Thank You in advance!!

I don't usually do early bird but this is one time where I would. It's just not worth taking a chance.

If you are flying Southwest and want to be in the A boarding group, I would definitely recommend paying the extra $12.50/person for early bird check in. Then you don't need to worry about it at all. If this is important to you, I wouldn't risk letting someone else (DCL) check in for you and the wi-fi is expensive. Do you really want to be sitting on your phone or laptop at dinner time on your last night checking in for your flight?

I pay for the Early Bird Check In so I don't have to worry about it.
