I just checked the tickets I had ordered a while back, as we are headed down in May. I have been ordering the same AirMile ticket for years and upgrading to AP for around $50. This time, I noticed doing the price check, the upgrade (DVC) will cost just over $100! Yikes! So I'm trying to figure out what changed, and I noticed the regular base tickets they have issued are the expire within 14 days, not the non-expiry ones they issued before. This explains the price differential. Sheesh, no wonder they haven't boosted the number of airmiles it takes. Kinda sneeky, so those who upgrade, be careful! It comes to a $69 difference between a 5 day base ex to a 5 day base non expiry. That certainly explains that. DVC ap is $345.

Airmiles offers two different ticket types Base and All inclusive
The All inclusive is significantly more points but is non expiry
"This ticket also includes a No Expiration feature where unused days never expire."
Points did go up about a year ago.

The old base used to be non-expiry. I remember when the ticket prices went up a year ago. I had to purchase one for my neice so she could come. I've been doing this upgrading for quite a few years, and have been very very fortunate, but never paid more than $50 extra. I just want to let people that have been doing it like me for a while to be aware

In January of 2007 I ordered park tickets from AM and back then they had expire and non-expire tickets.
