You can just take the e gift card to your local Starbucks and get a plastic GC ,
I just exchanged a bunch of e-gift cards for plastic ones for xmas gifts for co-workers.
Log into your Airmiles account--go to use miles--click on cash rewards--go to bottom of page
Airmiles e-vouchers--Starbucks is listed there--95 Airmiles--$10.00 Starbucks e-voucher.
Hope that helps

Does anyone know of another way to earn Starbucks gift cards? I am an avid Airmiles collector but I have all my miles go into dream rewards not cash rewards. I don't really want to direct any of my miles towards a cash reward but would love to start collecting some Starbucks money for our trip in March.

Though, I haven't done it in the last year...they used to not even charge an exchange rate. A dollar was a dollar. I sort of think that now they do a conversion.
WOW-this is an interesting conversation. I didnt realize Canadian Starbucks cards work in the US. Can someone please report back if they are doing a conversion or just taking it as a straight dollar for dollar payment? I am headed to Buffalo in a few weeks so maybe I will try it out myself.
I just wanted to add a tip for those who use Virgin Mobile as their cell phone provider . They have a promo on their website where they will text you a code that allows you to purchase a $10 Starbucks Egift card and they add a $5 bonus . So $10 for $15 in credit . I think they will only send you a code once every few weeks. I used ours and had family send me their codes and managed to get about $100 or so in Starbucks credit for our March trip. The nice part was that the free $5 bonus pretty much covered all the exchange so it didn't sting as much . We were at Universal with Starbucks in the lobby of our hotel and went for drinks and breakfast a few mornings
