No, it's only the US one. It has US in the top right hand corner as well as an American Flag as the design. The one you are showing is Canadian, I believe, and that continues to be AMs.
Any one who applied for the US MC after 2022 (I think) did not get the option of AMs however I have had mine so long that it was grandfathered in and I continued to get AMs. It was 1 AM for every $25 spend. Not a lot but when your paying for a cruise or a WDW vacation it added up.

Oh, no! I love getting those extra airmiles for my cruise purchases on Holland America Line. $3000 is a lot of money to avoid the charge, especially if we aren't getting the Airmiles.

I thought you could book Holland America in Canadian funds? I want to clarify, it's only the US MC that is discontinuing with the AMs. The Canadian card will continue.

Yes the Canadian Airmiles M/C is still continuing. I just went down a real rabbit hole of CC terms. The non Airmiles US$ CC has a $49 fee (used to be $35) and yes the new minimum you must spend to not pay the fee is $3000. I didn't think we'd manage that without our usual US travel. Thank you Holland America and overpriced excusions, I've made that minimum for this year.

Then I went down the travel benefits with the BMO Airmiles WE M/C to see what the coverages were. Not as much as I thought. Went to CAA to see what they would charge for the cruise ($1000). That would cover 50% of the prepaid expenses. I'll self insure. We're still young and in good health. 5 trips (no insurance) and I've covered off what I might get back if I ever did have to claim. I do keep track of any losses (none so far) vs cost of insurance (saved by not getting it).

Medical we're covered for and I have purchased additional upon occasion.

Yes, I book the cruises in Canadian but the excursions are in US funds. And of course this is the credit card that is on my portfolio and is used for any purchases on the ship.

As an aside, are you aware of the stock holders benefit with Holland America? If you hold 100 shares of Carnival stock, you are entitled to OB credits for each cruise. Amount depends on the length of the cruise. Look it up onlne if you don't know about it and are interested.

Anybody know of anyway to get in touch with Amazon? I have now posted three reviews for a product and they just keep removing them. The first one they didn't post. The second and third they posted and then the next day removed. I can only assume it's because I was rating the product two stars while the other 6 reviews rate it 5 stars. I will add that the five star reviews all received their products for free which sort of negates the positive reviews in my eyes. Why ask people to review products if you only keep the good reviews.
I can't find anyway to contact Amazon to ask them why.

For sure. I bought during the pandemic, have gotten my money back and everything else if bonus.

I discovered that Canadians can join AARP in the States and get even more OBC Use it once and you've paid for the membership. Trick is you have to be a member, have it verified and THEN book a cruise, and we're already booked into 2027.

I can see the AARP being more difficult to manage as I assume it's an annual memebership and like you I am now booking a year or more out for future cruises. Just booked Fort Lauderdale to Santiago Chile through the Panama Canal for Nov '26. We're going to apply for the OBC in the new year for next years cruises ($400US nothing to sneeze at). So glad I found out about this perk.

I tried calling them when a heated scarf came with a leaking battery and I didn't feel safe with it in my home or sending by courier ,,,no luck...ended up taking it to the community recycle center and taking pictures.

Likely 15x or 20x like prior years. I can’t wait so I made a small order for my new hobby (knitting) from Michael’s for the 5x.

Re the BMO AM credit card - I swear it was 1AM / $20 spent. Now it’s 1AM / $25. Oh well.

Well I am all done my Christmas shopping except for a couple of Gift cards.
I am cutting back big time this year.
I do have one son who has a Birthday in Dec and a brother who was born on Dec 25th so I will need to figure something out for them.
I would wait for Black Friday and Cyber Monday for Airmiles deals.

I made a small Pet Smart buy this morning.

it's been so long since my last covid vaccine (missed last year's because it finally caught up to us so we weren't eligible) that i forgot how my body reacts! Down for the count today, probably take tomorrow as a rest day (been sleeping off and on today but that wasn't by choice, can't stay awake!)

I've been using my awake periods to do surveys since I'm fairly confident they've worked the last few bonus offers. Not happy that it's only 5x this go around, I'm spending a lot of time staring at my phone

If it works that's only worth 140 miles. Almost half way to the max so I'll keep poking away over the weekend

People I erred - I placed a Walmart order and Michaels order yesterday thinking that it started then. I strategically planned my Michaels order to get the discount coupon on 2 items. Oh well I think that the sale ended yesterday and I would have paid full price for 2 of my items instead of buy 1 get 1 50%off. Money saved it better than a few air miles anyway.

Maybe I will place a PetSmart online order instead of just going into the store and shopping.
