Airmiles AP Upgrade- Answer

Just got back, and am very happy to report YOU CAN upgrade to an AP!!!!! The cost was $40 AM (cheap, cheap) per adult ticket (based on a 7 day PHP). This is for a regular, not premium AP. Your discounts alone will make up the $40.

Do not ask at the ticket area before you enter the park. The info there is not always correct. Hike right over to the guest services
before the turnstyles. Do not use the passes at all before upgrading. If for example, you used a day, you would HAVE to upgrade to a Premium Annual Pass. They will scan each ticket and make you pay the difference between the 7 day PHP and the AP value. It took a little time, as there were 5 of us, but well worth the effort.

$40 US? That's it?! Wow I thought it was going to be much more and so I only ordered one Airmiles pass ... I think I'd better order another tomorrow.

Glad to see you are home safe and sound, it must have been a scary end to your trip!

Did you exchange a child's 7 day PHP for an AP? If so, how much was that?

PS. Winnipeg DIS meet Sept 19th at the Second Cup on Graham and Edmonton, 7pm.

I am sooooooo glad to hear that. I've just have 2 more unexpected $ things added to my trip (now a rental car and a flight home) oh well that's and extra day in WDW.

Off to order my airmile tickets.....anyone know how long they'll take. What I'm thinking is that my Sept. miles probably aren't on my statement yet.

The passes came by courier within a week of ordering them. I did my ordering on line. As for the childrens 7 day PHP to AP, I believe it was $40 AM as well.

That is great news. It appears they gave you full credit for the gate price of a 7 day hopper plus. Mine is only a 5 day but I am sure the same will apply.

I thought guest services was inside the park? Is there also a guest services downtown where we could do this?
