airlines, security and what time did you get there

With less then 2 days to go, got to thinking, what has your experience been with an airline, security (bags being checked) and how early your arrived for your flight. US Air told me 90 min. before the flight, but I have heard that they are checking baggage not with every passenger in detail. JUst and to make sure we get there early enough that we don't miss our flight. Thanks in advance for your feedback!!

That sounds good to me. I would rather be sitting at the gate then trying to get there.

A lot depends on your airport.

Where are you flying from? I generally get to most airports one hour in advance. However, I get to Atlanta two hours and there are some little ones I figure I could actually do in 15 min. (I don't, but....)

Always better to be early than late.

I wouldn't go less than 90 min. You just never know.
