anyone have any information on the best time frame before a trip to book flights to London?

It's best to book flights to Europe as soon as they're released, so about 10.5 months in advance.

We're going to London in June and I booked my tickets in August. 10 days after I booked them, the price doubled and they haven't gone down.

I should also add that I tracked flights for a full year before I was able to book mine. The prices never went down.

I'm flying to London next August. I bought direct overnight flights for $600 per person. You can currently book (at least out of Boston) for less than $500 PP. I can't believe the prices we got.

What airline out of Boston?

Thanks! After I posted my question I went to Kayak.com and discovered the Delta offer.:cool1: Only $476 RT for my expected summer vacation next year. This is torture. We already agreed to sail on a Disney cruise for my niece's HS graduation. I mentioned the crazy low fares and they're not interested in London. Sigh...
So we have to decide: break our commitment to travel with them and jump on a great opportunity, or let it pass and hope for something just as good the next summer. :(
