When we booked our tickets for our trip in April, our tickets were $120 per person. I went to look at tickets for our July trip and they are now $250 per person!! There will be three of us flying, so it's almost $400 more. Should I wait and see if prices go down? Thanks for any tips. Southwest was having a great discount and now they have doubled their prices flying out of Indianapolis. We live near Cincinnati, but it's cheaper to fly out of other airports!:confused3

Well the 120 is a STEAL!!! Is that round trip?? WOW!!! I don't think you will find it less than 250 honestly. That is the norm, pretty much. I checked out Toledo and Detroit and 250ish was the cheapest I could find for March. last Oct. they had a good deal of 150, but that was a slower time of year to fly to Florida as well.

It's because it's during the summer months. It's always more expensive then. I think $250 is pretty darn good myself. You could try Air Tran they have good fares or you could try adjusting your travel days. Flying on the weekend will up your costs so if you can go mid-week you might get a better deal. You could hope for a better deal by waiting, but I wouldn't count on it.
