We are booked for our WDW trip December 8-15. I would really like to get my airline tickets at a good price, but most of the less expensive flights are not out yet. We live in South Bend, Indiana (about 2.5 hrs from Chicago and 3 hrs from Indy). The best I have found is about $250 per person from South Bend and $203 from Chicago.

We flew Allegiant last time and really liked it, but now there seem to be so many additional charges that it does not seem worth it unless we get a really low fare. (With Allegiant we will need to rent a car.)

Any suggestions on when to be serious about looking and where to begin? Any ideas are appreciated! TIA

I would also ask WD(use the 800 number)

I just booked the free dining and the CM asked me if I had my airfare yet...I said no ...he said WDW has some great deals on Airtran..I got 4 rt ns tickets for 617.20 over Laborday weekend(it was 850 on airtran's site)...so check with WDW...I also use Sidestep and itasoftware to help locate deals and book directly on the airline site. Airtran had 202 from Midway on your dates...I don't know what other airports are near you...but call disney...you might get a $150 off that price if you are getting 4 tickets.
