Airline Question

Hi ya guys, I didnt know where to ask this so i just thought id put it here, feel free to move it.

What are good airlines to fly from LA to Orlando? Im from Australia and want to make a connecting flight from LA where I will land and travel to WDW. What websites/Airlines do you recommend?

I would go with southwest they are usually the cheapest and they are always fun!

American, United and Delta all have nonstop flights from LAX to MCO.

I would recommend you try sidestep.com to find the lowest fare, but also check the airline's website directly.

I live in LA and take United or American most times. This city is a hub for both of those airlines. The benefit of taking either of these airlines is that if you are transferring to or from another airline, they will automatically transfer your bags. Southwest will not do that. You must bring your own bags.

Southwest hubs here as well, but you must make sure the flight you choose is NONSTOP. You will lose most of your day to travel, even though a nonstop is only 6 hours. You arrive in Orlando 9 hours after you depart LA. If you get a connecting flight, you will lose even more time.

Keep in mind that after about 3:30 pm, you cannotget an eastbound flight until the redeye/overnight ones. This is due to airport inbound restrictions caused bt the time change.

We are all about finding a good price. We flew Southwest in Aug 08 and JetBlue in June 09 from LAX to MCO. Both offered good airfares, but we loved having our own television with DirecTV (satellite TV) built into our seats on JetBlue. Although we had a quick stop in Austin, Texas, we'd go JetBlue again if the price was right.
