Airline Question

DH is a little nervous about information we got from Disney today...wanted to see if anyone had any opinions.

We purchased our airfare for our upcoming trip through Disney Travel, we usually purchase it on our own separately. I think we purchased back in August sometime for our trip in March.

Today in the mail I got a notice from Disney that our two flight numbers had changed and they had pushed the departure time back 5 minutes on our return time. I'm thinking don't the airlines do this type thing all the time? I don't need to be nervous do I?

Don't fly all that often, maybe once or twice a year. So I figure all of you who fly more will be able to tell me if we should be worried.

Please put your mind at ease....It happens all the time and in fact may even happen again. Be sure to check your ressies a day or two before flying just to confirm flight times and the like.

Yes, the airlines do this all the time. The earlier you book your flights, the greater your chance of having a rescheduling. It's just one of those things ... it has nothing to do with Disney. Disney is merely being a responsible travel agent and informing you of changes made by your airline.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

If you already had seat assignments, it would be good to re-check those, though. We had no change in our out-going flight time last week but the airline made an "equipment change" to a smaller plane. In that process, our group got split when the airline reassigned seats and didn't tell us, and we didn't find out until checking in on-line the night before. On our return flights, the first had had a 10 minute time shift but the seat assignments didn't change; the second flight didn't change in time but again the seat assignments did. So now I'll be checking more often once I book flights...
